  Apparently a 6 month old car battery is completely dead until it's discovered it's still under warranty, then it's fine to go and the problem was only minor, and something can be seriously wrong with your car, but if you make a point of having no money then the issue magically disappears and your car is safe to drive. Until the next time the car is brought in of course.
